No Rush for TJ Warren

It's a wings league!

Something that did not go unnoticed by its Brooklyn Nets brass was a Kevin Durant Twitter post that read just that, "it's a wings league." General manager, Sean Marks had agreed to terms with forward TJ Warren, this off-season. Added to what seems to be quite a fulfilled roster of wings.

Warren had undergone foot surgery which made him miss the entirety of the previous season. It has been reported by New York Post, Brian Lewis that head coach Steve Nash has stated Warren will not be ready for the season opener and maybe longer closer to November to be cleared. Not the best news that fans want to hear, yet something they are well programmed to deal with, unfortunately.

The upside of Warren is being a shot creator and floor spacer while also being another potential three point threat and defender for the Nets. Something the Nets have extremely missed while Joe Harris had been absent last season. Many if not all saw his production in the bubble. Warren was one of the top performers during that time and if the Nets can find any glimpse of that production added to the group of Irving, Durant and Simmons, the Nets should be confident.

The question is how concerning is it that Warren is not medically cleared?
